This is Darryl Knable and Laurie Billits,'s OC, as anthro lions.
"Like my new look, Darryl?" – Laurie Billits showing her new self to Daryl Knable.
“Heh-heh-heh, it suits you, Laurie.” – Darryl Knable, shyly to Laurie Billits.
Prior to her unfortunate passing, Darryl Knable had a bit of a crush, however precocious, on her brother, Bradley's girlfriend, Laurie Billits. However, he never had the courage to tell her his feelings, as he didn't want to hurt his brother. The feelings went away when Darryl acquired his own flame in Rain Herble. One day, Darryl resurrected Laurie, who has since lived with him and the Knable family.
However, in spite of unrequited love, Laurie always saw Darryl as a little brother of sorts, as she had been an only child, whereas he saw her as a second sister. Has this mere friendship evolved into a kinship?
In Stay Tuned: Welcome to Heavision, Darryl, Bradley, and their family died from an Earthquake. Darryl went to Heavision, while Laurie, who had long died prior, had been a veteran of Heavision and help Darryl and the Knables get accustomed to their new environment. Since then, the Knable family become the iconic family mascots of the Will David Company (a heaven parody of Walt Disney). In their new afterlives as cartoon lions, Darryl and Laurie maintain a close relationship.
In my story,
, in several different dimensions (most notably Ex-Earth), Darryl and Laurie live with their family in a small (but bigger on the inside) bungalow on a small island near Leona Island, an island inhabited by nekkid anthro animals. While they don't go to school, they decently educated and have friends. In their online web comedy series, “Knable House”, Darryl resurrected Laurie in the second season as a soul in a cybernetic body where she was initially acted as a Cortana-esque assistant before being adopted by the Knable family.
